Joni Hagler (CDA/Lab Technician) has been a part of the BFD team for over two years now. She moved here from Idaho and enjoys it here. Joni is very involved in rodeo and outdoors. Anytime she is not at work, you will find her riding horses, roping or traveling to the next rodeo. Along with her horses.

Fred Gareis (Lab Technician) says that, “for the last 14 years it has been a privilege to be part of this quality team of dental professionals, whom I have found to be genuinely caring people and funny too! I not only enjoy the creativity of sculpting beautiful dental restoration but find it very rewarding when we meet or exceed our patient’s high expectations for their dental care. Some of my favorite things to do are: spending time with family and friends, being ‘Grandpa’ to 5 ‘little rosebuds,’ playing guitar, singing and writing gospel music, gardening, sports, hiking, camping, fishing and woodworking.”

Darcy Bullock is our schedule coordinator and has been with our office for 6 years. She is always happy to help our clients with questions regarding insurance, accounts and works hard to create a fun, relaxed atmosphere for everyone. Her family consists of her husband Lance and two kids, Ryan and Hanna. Darcy went to school in the valley, so she is a familiar face to many. Her husband has deep roots in the valley and is following in his father’s footsteps as an apple grower. Their family spends a lot of time at sporting events because both kids are good athletes. Ryan plays football, baseball and is on the wrestling team for Mac-Hi and Hanna plays volleyball, basketball and softball. Darcy enjoys shopping, walking and spending time with her animals.

Dona Rahn (Hygienist) has been working with Dr. Saager for over 24 years. She enjoys showing her horse, Tuffy, water and snow skiing. Her family consists of husband Cary, cocker spaniel Beau and Siamese cat Bandit. She is active in Blue Mt. Community Church and numerous community service clubs.

Kim Glover grew up in Eastern Oregon. In 1998, she earned a degree in Dental Hygiene from Oregon Tech in Klamath Falls. She joined the BFDC team in 2003. One of the many things Kim enjoys about her job is working with infants, toddlers, and their parents. Kim and her husband Tony have a toddler son named Cole. They enjoy living in the mountains, hiking in the summer and cross country skiing in the winter.

Jani White has been with the office as of January 2009. She lives in Walla Walla. Her family consists of her husband Hal. Hal is the owner of Pete’s Ski and Sport shop on Main Street in Walla Walla. Her two children, Hayden and Halle, both are on the Bluewood Alpine Race Team. The family spends a lot of time traveling to the Spokane area for ski races. Jani loves to snow ski as much as the rest of her family. In the off season you will find them at the Pacific Little League field or the soccer fields. They are a very busy and active family. She will always greet you with a smile.

Jackie Speed has been with the office for more than 12 years. Her current title is Office Manager, but she is very fluent with every aspect of the office. When she is not working she is spending time with her family. Her sons, Aaron and Brett, keep her busy all year round. Both boys are active with sports, hunting, fishing and snowboarding. Jackie and her husband Dave are very active in the Athena community. Dave coaches boys’ basketball and baseball. Jackie is on Little League Board for the Athena-Weston school district and a member of the Spout Springs Ski Patrol. She is available to answer any questions our patients might have about anything dental. Our office is very lucky to have her!

Monica Woodrow is a very ambitious lady on our assistant team. She is the mother of two precious girls that she adores. Jenny, Mia, and Monica reside in Walla Walla. She recently joined the BFDC team in the Spring of 2009 as a chair side assistant and bilingual coordinator. She is an awesome addition to our team, as we can make our Spanish speaking clients feel comfortable and at ease.
It never occurred to Monica that she would love dentistry as much as she does. She is very hard working and actually has a second job in the evenings. If you place an order at a particular local Mexican restaurant and think you recognize the face…it is probably Monica! She is truly a caregiver, and each client she works with feels her caring spirit. The phrase below is one of her favorites; she hopes you like it!

Rebecca Grant is a graduate of BMCC. She has been an assistant for Dr. Schroeder for the past 61/2 years. Rebecca enjoys working at BFD. Rebecca is raising her family in Milton-Freewater. Most of her free time revolves around ranching.

Janet Widman has been our lead dental assistant for 24 years. She and Dr. Saager can almost read each others’ minds as they work on patients. She has a 27-year-old daughter Amy, who lives and works in Seattle. Two important males in her life are her fiancé, Mike, and her miniature Schnauzer, Murphy. Family is very important to Janet, and she shares many a fun weekend with her sisters and daughter. Janet lives in Walla Walla. Camping, reading, knitting and baking are just a few activities Janet enjoys in her spare time.

Kristi Case-Williamson is the newest member of the Broadway Family Dental Care team. She has been with us since October and lives in Elgin, Oregon. Kristi shares her home and 40 acres with her husband, Chase, and 1 year old son, Kale. Since she drives over Tollgate daily, and is in an office of avid skiers, she pays special attention to the weather and amount of snow on top. When she is not at BFDC, she enjoys the great outdoors by ranching, hunting, rodeoing and riding. Kristi obtained her dental hygiene degree at Eastern Oregon College and has actually taught classes there. She is a great addition to our team.
